Brrrr!!! Baby, it's cold outside {at least it is here in the Ohio Valley}! I'm not gonna lie, I am enjoying the winter weather and the daily 2 hour delays...esp this week after recovering from my girls weekend in Dallas!
Tomorrow, I was supposed to get braces put on {4th time's a charm, right?!} but the impeding weather is going to prevent me from going. Weekend wither weather drives me crazy but sleeping in on weekdays is always enjoyable!
I stopped by the library tonight and picked up some good reading material for tomorrow's snow storm. Sidebar: I am not a school-year reader. I try to act like I am, by being in book club, but let's face it, I never read. I just show up and enjoy the company of friends and delicious food. I always feel the heat to read because I am an over-achiever and view myself as a slacker if I don't. BUT, I usually get over that quickly when it comes to reading books that I don't pick out myself. The books I picked up today are definitely not for my age range {30 something} but I do shop at Forever 21, so I guess these books are acceptable for me. Can I get a LC, anyone? In my defense, I DID start reading LC's books several years ago...and then forgot about them. Until today. *I may also have a book about Clarissa {aka Melissa Joan Hart} from Clarissa Explains It All, as well as Tori Spelling's new one, in my pile. Could my book selections be any more bizarre!?
So back to the premise of this post: I am teaming up with my good friend Denise from Sunny Days in Second Grade and we'd love to give away our latest winter goodies! I am offering up my Informational Writing: Arctic Animals pack and Denise is giving away her Polar Pals: Math and ELA Centers pack. I love her centers as enrichment for my advanced students! Denise is so creative!
Just follow the Rafflecopter below! Ends Monday night! Good luck and stay warm!
