Hi! I am linking up with Doodle Bugs Teaching for another 5 for Friday!
Fun times over here at the Wheeler household. As you know, I had rotator cuff repair surgery back in early January. I've been going to PT 2x/week since. I've also been off work since. I had my second follow-up apt. this past Monday with my surgeon and was assuming he would clear me for work. I was mentally prepared to go back this Monday. Things don't always go as planned. When he checked my range of motion, he freaked out and told me my shoulder is freezing. "Frozen Shoulder," as it's called, is an EXTREMELY painful condition caused by scar tissue building up around the area where you have surgery. Your joint is literally frozen. I can't reach behind my back. At all. My doctor is really worried and is giving it 3 weeks more of PT to see if it loosens up. If not, I have to HAVE SURGERY AGAIN. What.the.(insert profanity). I have been pushing so hard all week {even more than I had been}--to the point of tears. I went and got a medical massage yesterday and it was so painful, but I think it helped. I am willing to do whatever it takes to get my range of motion back. I can not have another surgery! I need to get back to my first graders. I will keep you posted on how it's going. Hopefully by next week, my joint will have loosened up.

Earlier in the week, I was craving cookies. I had some butter and eggs that were expiring so I threw everything in my Kitchen Aid mixer and baked up these cookies. So good!
I was not going to watch "This is Us." But then everyone kept talking about it and I had FOMO. And my mom would tell me every Tuesday that it was on. I don't have much else to do besides sit here and feel sorry for myself, so I decided to binge-watch it. OMG! So good. Do you watch? Last week was so sad. Can't wait to see what the next episode will bring!

Your "I'm lucky to have a friend notes" are so sweet. Kids really need to learn how to give compliments to others. Thanks for sharing.
