Five for Friday 7.8.16

Hi, everyone!  Hope your week has been great and that you had a fun Fourth of July!  I am linking up with Doodlebugs Teaching for another Five for Friday.

If you saw my Five for Friday from a couple weeks ago, you know that the Mr. and I traveled to St. Lucia in the Caribbean to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary.  While we were there, we picked up a beautiful map souvenir with the intention of framing it once home.  I headed to Michael's shortly after returning home and had it custom framed.  We LOVE how it turned out!!!!!!!!

I got a new, infusion water bottle this summer and am really liking it!  Water tastes so much better in the summer with a little flavor!  Each night before bed, I fill the infuser with my favorite combination.  Orange-Basil and Strawberry-Lime are two of my favorites so far!  You can get your own by clicking below.

I had big plans to work hard this summer but life happened during the month of June.  Sadly, my husband lost his father and we had to travel to California, Minnesota, and then of course our trip to St. Lucia.  It's been a rough summer so far and I haven't done much for school, TpT, or my blog.  We are back home now and getting back into the swing of things.  Work is my stress reliever, so once I am rested up from all the travel, I'll be back at it.

One thing I did do before school was out was create a new set of classroom library labels.  I previously used THESE but I am changing up my room this year and wanted something more simple.  I love the clean font and clear pictures.  There are over 100 different labels included!  Also included are matching sticker labels to print and place inside the books' covers.  This makes organizing your library so simple.  I've gone with this system for 11/12 years of my teaching career and wouldn't have it any other way.  Click the cover to check these out.

I printed out some new, self-assessment clip cards for the upcoming year.  I use these as a quick check after a lesson.  This is especially helpful after Math!  These are a freebie in my store and you can get them below.  Enjoy!

Cute cards! I have the student hold up fingers at chest level. Quick & easy!
