To practice skip counting, we have been doing the following...
-Ordering number cards (independently and whole-group)---the whole group activity is very interesting! I tell them they can not talk and I time them to see how quickly they can get in order. They love it!
-Snapping unifix cubes together

-Listening to skip counting songs and watching skip counting clips from Youtube. There are a lot of good clips out there!!

I just printed your Pete the Cat games. LOVE them! On the gameboard do they use the cards to move or a die? It looks like they pick a card and move to that spot. I just didn't understand the roll again slot.

Saw this on Pinterest...would love to use this in my Daily 5 and put letters on the cubes. I have a ton of them from when I taught littles...now I teach 4th grade. Did you use permanent marker??
