I can't wait until spring break!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just 21 days until some warm, sunshine and toes in the sand! I better get myself in gear and get back into the gym routine. I have been slacking lately...dang computer gets me every night. When is your spring break?!
I was feeling domestic so I did some baking this week! First up: chocolate chip oatmeal cookies {recipe is from the chocolate chip bag!}. I also made some protein bars for breakfast from Dashing Dish. Love that website! Her sister is also a teacher and blogger! Such a small world!
The leprechaun came to our room this week! He left a note and today he will be leaving us some glittery shamrocks!!!!! You can find Silly McGilly HERE.
We are just about to enter the...........4th quarter!!!!! Woo Hoo! We've learned almost all of our sight words...I started reviewing them this week by using them as a "password" to get in the door each morning. I printed an extra set of my Fry's First 100 Word Wall cards and laminated them. I placed them in a can by my door. I like that I can flash through and give each child a new word...no repeating what the person in front of them said! *That Mrs. Wheeler is pretty tough!

This week we worked on the sounds of /ed/ for Phonics. My friend/teammate had the idea to make word webs with flowers! They turned out great!

I just ordered my Silly McGilly book! Wish I would have seen this first, I got it off amazon and paid $5 more. Oh well! Can't wait to share it with the kiddos :)
