Hi, friends! I'm back for another 5 for Friday. Thanks to Doodle Bugs Teaching for hosting! This week was my first full week back to work {with kids}. It hasn't been too terribly exhausting, but I have been going to bed at 9pm every night!
We may or may not have put Ticonderoga pencils on our supply list this year....I can not describe how happy I am about this!!! It was a great debate and I am glad we did it! The smooth writing. The easy-to-erase lead. Those other pencils just aren't the same; they don't sharpen and the erasers suck. 'Nuff said. Let's take a moment to enjoy ALL THAT IS TICONDEROGA, shall we?
We had our annual bus safety practice. After, we made a little bus craft from Mrs. Cupcake {love her crafts!} and did some writing from my 'Back to School Printables' pack.
We have done a little Math each day...very simple activities like watching song videos {Jack Hartman, Harry Kindergarten, etc...} and playing some basic games. We played some games from my 'Math Games on the Fly' pack and the kids had a blast! I love that I can easily differentiate to help my strugglers if I need to.
I made a run to Ulta. Dang that place is dangerous! Gets me every time. I do always have a coupon and this time, I had $3.00 in rewards to spend so it made the damage a little easier to swallow! I am LOVING the coconut balm. It is so moisturizing. I put it on my legs and feet before bed. It smells amazing, too! I am NOT loving the Sun Bum chap stick. I am obsessed with the sunscreen but the chap stick tastes like sunscreen and goes on really thick and greasy.

Ulta is a dangerous, dangerous place! Never seem to leave with just the item I intended to buy.
