Five for Friday January 10

Hello!  I am sooo thrilled that today is Friday! I have had an insane week.  I just got back from California Sunday.  Grade cards were due Wednesday.  I am having a baby shower for my teaching bestie tomorrow.  I haven't had a minute to relax or even watch my DVR this week! Ahh!  I am linking up with Doodle Bugs Teaching for "Five for Friday" to give you a snapshot of my week.

1.  Everyone in my family forgot my birthday.  No calls.  No texts.  Nothin'.  So, on Monday morning once everyone realized, I received this beautiful bouquet!!!

2. This week, my students did New Year's activities for centers!  We also worked on activities from my New Year's Literacy Pack.   I just love this oo/ew dipthong pack!  It's perfect for this time of year with New Year themed graphics!  Click the cover to take a peek.  We ended the week with a New Year's art project!

3. We began learning about "Magic E."  We used my free transfer mats to practice.  Who doesn't love using a Vis-a-Vis marker?  We will start lots of goodies from my "Now Presenting: Magic e" set next week!

4. I've been preparing for the "Product Swap," which is tomorrow!!  Be sure to get on Blogger tomorrow (1.12.13) and check out all the great products by other bloggers and sellers.

5.  Tonight, I've been shopping, cleaning, and getting ready for my school bestie's baby brunch that I am hosting tomorrow!  I am semi-sick but pushing through!  The book basket is ready to be filled with board books for my friend!!
