We Promise!

Hi, friends! I have been at it for a week now.  The first week went pretty smoothly. On the first day of school, I always read a behavior-type book to my class and together, we develop a class promise.  It is my way of establishing "rules." To me, "class promise" doesn't sound as harsh.  Here is a picture of this year's class promise.  I always let me kids make these little heads to serve as their signature on the promise.  *And YES-I DO bust out the Elmer's liquid glue on day 1 of first grade! It's all about how you explain and model it! :)
