The Little Green Witch

It's now mid-October and Halloween is quickly approaching!  We typically spend the week before and the week of Halloween doing fun, thematic activities and centers.  I must say that my favorite thing that we do this time of year is The Little Green Witch.  If you haven't read the book, you MUST check it out!  You can get it on Amazon at the end of this post.  It's basically a Halloween version of the classic, The Little Red Hen.  We spend about a week with the green witch and little red hen books.  We read them multiple times and compare/contrast them.  We do vocabulary, graphic organizers, written response, a craft, and even make a fun witch snack.  This is a great little pack that's perfect for Halloween!
