Good Morning and welcome back to another edition of "Sunday 6!" Happy Mother's Day to all you moms, grandmas, and aunts out there! I hope your day is fantastic! If you're interested in linking up your own "Sunday 6" blog post, you can find the link-up tool at the bottom of my post. Just please be sure to use my "Sunday 6" images and link back to my blog, Mrs. Wheeler's First Grade. Enjoy your day!
We have 10 days left. Everyone is spent. I've been incorporating some "free play" time into our morning to help break up the day. The kids have been doing so well with it! Some of our favorites are Chutes and Ladders, Checkers, and Tenzi! Tenzi is a face-paced dice game. My first graders haev been loving it for many years now! To get your own set of Tenzi or to simply check it out, click

We have been reviewing verbs! This verb tense booklet was a perfect review. I also incorporated verbs into our
Morning Message. Click the cover below to grab the booklets.
I picked up some new classroom labels from Polka Dots Please. I printed two on a page to get them small like shown below. I can't wait to laminate them and have them ready for the fall! To check out the labels click

My team and I had our annual "Muffins for Moms" event on Thursday. Blog post coming soon, but here is a photo of two of my teammates and I! Love them so much!
National Pun Day is May 15!!! I'll be celebrating with my "Punny Notes Home" pack! Every student will get a pun note in their mailbox! LOL! Click the product cover below to grab these fun notes for your classroom!
We have been having a lot of fun with Kwik Stix lately! I love these paint sticks because they dry super fast and are very simple for kids to use. My kids love painting pictures for teachers and family members! To check them out, click
