End of the Year Stuff

In 2.5 more days, I'll be on summer break!  WOO HOO!  Another year down.  Hard to believe how fast life goes...

I'm going to show what we've been up to the past week!  Lots of pictures!  Enjoy!

For easy Math review {that allows me to get some work done} that keeps kids engaged, I put out manipulatives and let them go to town!  Fun!  They got to rotate to each station.  It lasts about an hour.

We made these great cars from Jennifer at First Grade Blue Skies.  The kids and I both love them!

We've done several "Musical Sight Words" as review.

We made some cheery suns!  The kids painted a paper plate yellow and then added yellow and orange rays and a face.  They turned out so cute!

The kids have been having fun timing one another with sand timers on my FRY PHRASES and SILENT E FLASHCARDS.

I also got out some oldie but goodie center activities...beaded sight words and big books!

I've been purging.......lots of trash these days.  Purging is key in avoidance of becoming a teacher hoarder!!

We've been counting down the days........

and this is how I feel right now:

Are you finished with your school year?  What fun things do you do at the end?

I did a mystery person activity on the last day. I wrote down a special fact about each kid throughout the year and used it as their fact. Kids loved it! Also the ABC countdown is fun! Love the sun and cars!!!
