First Grade Assessments

Hi everyone!!!

I wanted to pop in today to tell you about a new product that I am super-excited about!!!!!!! It's my "Beginning of Year Assessment Pack for First Grade!"  I have been wanting to create something like this for a long time but just hadn't had the time.  As I've been mentally preparing for the upcoming school year, I've thought about the new rigor of the Common Core Standards.  Assessment is BIG now.  BIGGER THAN EVER. I have also been thinking about how I can get an accurate portrayal of each of my students those first few weeks of school.  I wanted to be sure to have everything I need prior to school starting.

My new pack covers a plethora of skills including: sight words, rhyming, syllables, letter ID, letter writing, beginning sounds, cvc words, color words, sentence dictations, number ID, number writing, skip counts by 2's, 5's, and 10's, number words, numbers before and after, months of the year, and days of the week.  Each skill is assessed either one-on-one or whole group.  There are also checklists included for you to mark down the skills you assess.

I designed this pack with my 1st graders in mind, but it would be appropriate for the beginning of the year second graders or home school students.  I hope you will take a look.  Click the cover to take a peek! Enjoy!
