I figured out this simple trick several years back. Just use those great wax clips and attach them to a birthday chart. Print or write out students' names and dates of their birthdays. No more spending $2.50 a year on new birthday posters!

I have the same poster! :) Mine is laminated and I just write on it with an overhead marker. Although Hadar says that if the poster is laminated you can write on it with a Sharpie and then erase it off. I have not tried it yet though.

BTW, I forgot to mention that it is a cute idea. This way you can just type, print and cut out. Easy Peezy. Did I spell that right? I've never written it out before.

Can you tell me where you got those great wax clips? I've looked everywhere for them and can't find them!! Thanks so much, it's such a great idea!
Hi, Kristen! You can buy these wax clips at any teacher/education store. Hope you can find some!

Good idea! In case you didn't know, you can write on laminated charts with Sharpie, and then take it off at the end of the year with nail polish remover. I always reuse my charts!

No that is clever!! I'm actually really attached to my birthday chart and always fear the year it will go out of print! True story. Thanks so much for sharing and linking up for Team Teaching Tuesday!
