5 for Friday 3.25.16

Hi!  I'm linking up with Doodle Bugs Teaching for another 5 for Friday!!!  

We had some Easter fun this past week!  It was a 4-day week, so we didn't want to start a lot of new things.  On Monday, I had a migraine.  At school.  Around noon.  So we had an "Easter egg decorating contest" where everyone had to be silent and paint an egg!  They turned out super cute but of course I didn't remember to take any pictures because I flew out of there once the kids left.  

On Wednesday, we had an "Easter bunny coloring contest."  We did a directed drawing activity.  This was also a silent time.  Glorious!

Last weekend we celebrated Easter early with my family.  My niece will be 2 in May.  We had a little egg hunt for her...so fun!

Also last weekend, I finallllyyy got to see my best friend {who lives like 20 minutes away} that I haven't seen in 4 months.  She has two little kids and is also a teacher.  'Nuff said!  We talk almost every day on our way to school, so we stay in touch that way!  Anyhow, we had dinner with our hubbys at a new place.  We celebrated our birthdays {which were both months ago!!!} and below is what I got.  She knows me well!

Yesterday was the last day of school!  I treated myself to a latte and a donut.  Hooray for Spring Break!
