Hi, everyone! Today I am just stopping by to post our 1st grade team supply list. We decide as a grade level what we'd like to put on our supply list. A few people had asked me what is on it, so I figured why not do a blog post about it!?
Over the years, we have become more brand specific on some things...the reason being is that if you buy quality products, they will last. I can't tell you how many off-brand dry erase markers have gone dry after a few uses or how many pencils I have thrown away because they REFUSE to sharpen even with the best pencil sharpener! I know it's not always ideal to ask for name-brand supplies, but some things need to be name brand in my opinion.
Here are the things we ask for in first grade:
What things do you ask for? Have a great day!

Hi Megan,
ReplyDeleteI ask for some of the same things you have on your list. This is the first year I've been specific about brand names on some items. I love those Ticonderoga pencils, don't you? Two on the list I'm going to start asking for: copy paper and headphones. Thanks for the list!

Ours is also very similar. We also ask for pencil cap erasers, a highlighter and a pack of post it notes to help with close reading activities I wish we could ask for brand names. Sometimes you really do get what you pay for as the cheaper brands just don't hold up.
