A little fun with a cat named Pete!

Who doesn't love Pete the Cat!? My students did the art project seen around the web (and don't you love his little guitar!?):

Then, we played this fun board game that I created! Fun! *Print 2 sets of the word cards for each partnership, so they have more cards to play with.  Finally, I made a color word concentration.  To play, you print off 2 sets of the cards on card stock.  Play whole group at a pocket chart.  My class loves matching games!

PS: You have to hear the online story/song.  It is hilarious! We have listened to it probably 6 times...and they ask every day to hear it again!  OH, and be sure to check out the "Pin the shoe on Pete" game as well! Very fun!

Happy Weekend, everyone! We all need it!

  5. Question on the board game: do they roll the dice, or do they choose a card and go to that color space on the board? I'm confused, sorry!
