Five for Friday November 7

Hey everyone!  I hope you have been having a great week!  TGIF!  I can't believe that I am even getting this post ready right now.  I have just gotten home from a 14 hour conference day.  I am a walking zombie.  Can you relate!?  Have you had your conferences yet???  I thought I'd take a moment to reflect back on the crazy week I had! I'm teaming up with Doodle Bugs Teaching for Five for Friday!  I can barely remember back to Monday but I'll give it a whirl!  Here we go!

I have been printing, cutting, and laminating my Guided Reading Resources pack.  I have used aspects of it in my groups and the kids have loved all of the fun new things!

On Tuesday, I exercised my right and voted!!!

Conference prep.  I have no words.  Thank goodness I can always rely on my Parent Teacher Conference pack to get me through the stressful times!!!  I may have treated myself to a pedi the night before!

I hit up Old Navy the other day because I had Super Cash to burn.  $10 off $25.  I had every intention of spending just $15.  Walked out of there $70 later...I did manage to snag these great pajamas!  I'm ready for a snow day!

I saved the BEST FOR LAST!  I decorated my house for Christmas last weekend!  You can call me crazy all you want, but I've always started November 1 for as long as I can remember!  Tis the season!  Below is a sneak peek!  I'll have to do a separate blog post with all of the decor, but I'll hold off for a few weeks for those of you that don't like to rush it!  #donthatecelebrate

Have a great weekend, friends!

  1. Love that you decorated for Christmas! My husband started asking me last week and I was kind of waiting but I think you've just inspired me to go ahead and do it! Hope you have a relaxing weekend after your busy week.

  2. I am so ready for Christmas! Seeing the jammies just makes it even more so for me - I am ready for hot cocoa and Christmas break! :) Our conference week is at the end of November.... I am tired thinking about it because you are right, they are crazy long days! Yay for the pedicure! I scheduled a massage for that week :)
