Hey everyone! I hope you are all enjoying your week! Today's post is just some pictures of my home office. We have a 3 bedroom house, and since we don't have children, we have an office. When we bought our house 7 years ago, I had it fully decorated within a few months {My parents own a flower shop, so I am luckily gifted in the home decorating department!}. I have always loved every room in our house...except for the office. I've always wanted to do more in there. I decided it was a waste of money because all we used the room for was browsing the internet and checking emails. Prior to blogging and TpT, work space and storage weren't really concerns of mine. BUT...recently they have become a slight issue. We looked into buying a new office suite and then decided not to do it because we'd rather travel {shocker!}. So, I decided I could make good use of what I have, add a few accessories, and be set!
I painted the walls 7 years ago and still enjoy the colors that I chose. I also bought the settee when we first moved in. The desk that we use in here is my desk from high school, which is really nice and it has 5 drawers. The antique china cabinet was something my dad got from his former 8th grade teacher {awesomeness!!!}! Most of the accessories I've picked up over the years, but I did buy a new wall clock from Target and a new cork board from Marshalls.
I knew that I wanted to find a book case or some sort of extra storage unit so I picked up the cute 2 drawer, 4 basket piece from TJ Maxx. I re-purposed the china cabinet by filling it with books and supplies. I love the fact that it has a drawer underneath, which just so happens to hold my laminator and laminating pouches perfectly!
I just love the few additions that I've made to my workspace! The only thing that's missing is a rug, and I've been searching for "the perfect one" for 7 years now...lol! Where do you do your work for your blog/school/tpt? Do you use an office or prefer the couch?
