Summer Festivities...and Memory Book!

The end of the year is nearing!!  I can hardly contain myself! It won't be long now!  We are starting our countdown chain this week!

I am a traveler at heart! We don't have kids, so we get to take impromptu trips whenever and the summer is the perfect time for those!  We just decided last week to get tickets to see Ke$ha and Pitbull...seriously...I am SO excited for it!  Sometimes I think I am still 21!

Next up, Nashville!  We've been there twice and absolutely love it.  We hope to someday move towards there.  We were there in the winter and the spring but never summer!  This will be a first.  I bet it will be packed! Even better!

Finally, a trip to Florida!  Can never go wrong with Florida!

So what are your summer plans?!  Will you travel or stay around home? Do you go the same place every year or switch it up?  I'd love to hear your plans!

I love having a memory book for my kids to work on those last few days of school.  I mean, seriously.  There is nothing better than giving them markers and letting them have at it while you get a few things done.  This book is for K-2.  Enjoy!

  1. Hi Megan,

Our last day is June 12th. We've already started a countdown chain. {So glad I'm not the only one who does this.} The kids love it. Hope you share some pics of your trip.

  2. Thanks for the Freebie and I like how you think! I am dying for those last few days when I can get the kids into an activity and I get to organize, tidy, recycle etc.

  4. Your summer sounds like it will be packed with lots of super fun things! All of the talk about summer is making me giddy-it is truly so close! I am going to Nashville this summer to for a bachelorette party-totally agree that Nashville is such a fun time! Thanks for the freebie!

  5. I love Ke$ha :) We usually take a 2-3 week vacation (and it usually involves a beach), but this year we are splitting it up (and no beach). We are headed to Colorado in June and then to New Mexico in July. I think we are done May 23- I get confused with all the snow days!!!

  6. Last year we went to London and Spain. This summer my husband and I are taking a "road trip" through Germany, Austria, Croatia, and Italy.

    I LOVE our summers.
