Happy almost April! But really...happy {almost} end of the year to most of you! I am sooo ready for summer! School has been stress-city this year! Are you all stressed as well?!?!?!?!?!?
April is National Poetry Month and anyone that knows me knows that I love me some poetry {and all things writing in the primary grades!}. I posted about how I use poetry all year long in my room here.
In April, the students write their own poetry! Before I checked out for spring break, I got my poetry things set up and ready to go for when we return! Poetry is made easy with my pack. You will be teaching your students how to write 7 different types of poetry throughout the month. This is a top-selling item in my store and I know you will love it! I've been teaching this poetry unit for many years now, and it's always a huge hit with my kids! Click the cover picture to check it out!
Enjoy!

Stress? Absolutely! I stayed home 12 years to be a stay at home mom. This is my 9th year to be back. More has changed in the last 3 years than in the 12 years I stayed home. Instead of things getting easier each year and my hours slimming down; things are getting harder and my hours have increased. I'm at the building any where from 10-12 hours a day. That doesn't include the work I do at home in the evenings or on the weekends. I love what I do but sometimes it's exhausting. I feel guilty as a wife, mother, daughter, friend, etc... because I feel like all of my loved ones get the "crumbs" or what's left of me. (sigh)
