Five for Friday January 18

Good evening, buddies!  It's Friday and it's been a looong week!  I'm linking up with Doodle Bugs for my second "Five for Friday."  You should, too!


1.  I threw a baby shower for my buddy Lindsey last Saturday.  I felt like doo-doo.  Once the shower was over, I took my temp and had a 103 degree fever.  Yikes! Straight to bed I went!  I have been sick since.  First flu, now sinus infection.  I'm seriously so.over.it.all.  I need to go back to my normal eating and nightly routines (can we say OCD?)!  Disclaimer: *I look like shizzle b/c I felt like shizzle!*


2.  In the midst of my crazy illness, I finished up my "Be Mine, Valentine" Literacy and Math centers pack!  Check it out by clicking the pic below!  It's 100 pages full of lovey dovey fun!


3.  American Idol started this week!!!  It's been my all-time favorite show for 12 years!  And I love me some Nicki Minaj!  Just sayin'...


4.  I bought 2 new nail polishes when I was feeling sorry for myself and my illness!  Impulse buy at CVS.  I am a nail polish ADDICT!!!  Proof is in the pudding right below...


My two new colors are: Essie "Beyond Cozy" and Essie "No More Film."

5. Speaking of cosmetics...my January Birch Box came!  Do you have a Birch Box account?  It's a program where you get some sweet samples of products in a cute little box every month.  It's just $10 to sign up.  Sometimes I get full size products!  Click this link to check it out and sign up!


Well, that's all for tonight.  I'm off to bed...have to nurse myself back to full health!

    I found your blog via Doodle Bug's linky. I'm your newest follower. Sorry to hear you aren't feeling well. It is going around my school right now. I cleaned the tables today a few times extra just in case anything wanted linger over the 3 day weekend. :) Thanks for sharing about birch box. I had never heard of it before, but I'm thinking I need to go check it out.

    Hope you feel better soon! I was grocery shopping today, and I never buy nail polish at the grocery store, but I had a coupon, and it was 75% off! I got it for less than free! I picked colors that were not my usual, so it was super fun! I thought about those when I read your post.
