I've just been making all kinds of goodies this summer! One project that I made (well, it didn't involve making much..) were these little part-part-total plates. I found them at Dollar General a few weeks ago. I also saw them at Wal-Mart during that same time period. I immediately went "Part-Part-Total!" when I saw them. My students always have trouble finding ways to make 10 (or any other number for that matter!). I thought these would be perfect esp with the new common core addition & subtraction standards! I just printed some little labels for the sections. You can really use any manipulatives that you want! What have you been making?
Genius!!!!!! I love this idea. I'm off to add these plates to my shopping list! Thanks
