Friday, we read
The Easter Egg by Jan Brett...love the beautiful illustrations!!
Afterward, students made their own eggs using oil pastels and watercolor paints. I quickly cut their egg templates out b/c I knew it would take them awhile to sketch, trace, and paint. They turned out beautifully! I forgot to take a picture of the final products but I will try to remember Monday.
