Geometry

This week, we started to learn about shapes. We began looking at various pattern block shapes.  We reviewed their names and counted their sides.

We also made an anchor chart.
I posted my shape vocab cards that I got from Mrs. Patton this summer--love these!

We read The Greedy Triangle.  We'll continue studying shapes in more depth next week...polygons and 3D figures!

Just wondering if you do any special project to demonstrate symmetry.
